A warm Monday evening saw both patrols construct catapults for the sole purpose of launching water balloons at each other.
The patrol worked well together constructing the frames using their rope skills, but the launching wasn’t quite as impressive as they had hoped – however a few Scouts got wet, but from their own supply of ammunition!
Saturday 29th June was the date for the annual Great Bentley Village Carnival.
The weather of the the proceeding weeks, and damp at best. Most days were scattered with showers, and it rains most nights – we were all expecting to get wet and soggy on the Saturday. However, our concerns with the weather were to be unwarranted.
