New term
We start back at Beavers/ Scouts on Monday 6th January, 2014 and Cubs on Tuesday 7th January, 2014. All meetings remain the same at the Scout Hut Beavers 6-7pm, Scouts 7:15-9pm and Cubs 6:30- 7:45pm. Please make sure you bring your child into the hut for all sections and register with their leader on arrival each week. Please could parents also collect their child from the hut, we have had incidents last term where a parent has come to collect their child and the child has already left. We are happy for the parents to come in at the end of each meeting and watch, as long as they are quiet and do not interrupt flag down.
Please note the times of the sections meetings, the leaders need time to get there and to set up the meeting . We have had incidents when children have been arriving up to 20 minutes before the meeting. We do not always have the necessary leader cover until the start of the meeting and cannot be responsible for the safety of your child.
Subs
Subs are now due again. These are £28 per term or £14 for each half term. Please make cheques payable to 1st Great Bentley Scout Group and write the name of the child and what the payment is for on the back of the cheque. If paying by cash please place in a sealed envelope with the Childs name and what you are paying on the outside. Envelopes are available from the leaders, however they do not carry any change with them so please bring correct money. We can also provide our bank details if anybody would prefer to pay by bank transfer.
Our accounts are all done centrally so you can put payments for several children/ events in one envelope if this helps you, please remember to write all names and events on the envelope. Please note however that the Explorers now have separate accounts so please can all money for explorers be sent to explorers separately.
