Last night saw nine scouts and two leaders hike from Frating to Alresford. It had been snowing earlier in the day, but fortunately most of this had melted during the afternoon. This meant that the path was clear of snow, but still very muddy and slippery.
Just a reminder that the next Hut Committee meeting is Thursday 7th February at 730pm. All parents are encouraged to attend.
Dear Explorers,
As discussed previously, your Executive Committee have planned a camp over the Hut on the 15th to 17th February 2013.
We will be working on a number of maintenance items over the weekend including clearing all the old wood (making a big fire…) and decorating the office which is to become the Explorer Units room.
The cost for the weekend will be £15 which should cover all food for the weekend.
Please email for more details, or if you’ve misplaced the letter.
Thanks
Paul Bovingdon
