Just a quick reminder that it’s the Halloween Disco this coming Tuesday.
Its time to celebrate, so join us for the party of the decade on 17th November 2012 at Skreens Park Activity Centre.
As you all know Wintac is fast approaching. I need to book the tickets on Sunday 28th October. I shall book a ticket for everyone who i have received an email confirmation from.
There is going to be, Balloons, Cake, Jelly & Ice Cream, Burger Van, Music from the last ten years, Karoke, Silent Disco, Albert & Kate (yes, they’re back by popular demand), Goody Bags and lots, lots more!

Rehearsals for the 2013 ‘Colchester Ganghow’ are to commence on 4th November 2012 @ ‘The Bunting Rooms’, Essex Street, Colchester from 2:00PM – 4:30PM and we are sending out an open invite to all Leaders, Network, Explorers, Senior Section, Guides and Scouts who want to get involved – please see here for more details http://www.colchestergangshow.co.uk/

The event is open to Explorer Scouts and Explorer Section Leaders in Essex and promises to be a fantastic celebration of the past ten years of Explorer Scouts.
So what can I expect?

Congratulations to both teams who entered The Essex County Marathon.
The County Marathon is a two-day self-sufficient team backpacking and overnight camping competition, open to Explorer Scouts, Scout Network, Leaders & Active Support Members. Teams can be from 4 to 6 people.
The Explorers (Novice) came 8th out of 22 teams – so a really good effort.
The Leaders (Experienced) also came 8th, but out of only 10 teams – so not quite so impressive 🙂
